Upgrade components
Upgrade components are things that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give a bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being utilized. They can be bought from players or vendors, scavenged or gotten as rewards, or made using crafting materials. In addition to providing bonus attributes, upgrade items can also be cosmetically beneficial.
Upgrade components include inscriptions, enhancements and infusions. They are generally not available for general use and they can only be applied to ascended equipment or some non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions, inscriptions and enrichments can be extracted from equipment with an Infusion Extraction Device, or saved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.
Phoenix Boxes unlike other upgrade products can be exchanged and reused while still attached to the item they are upgrading. These upgrade items are the most effective option to boost quality of armor and weapon without spending Dilithium, as they can increase the item's chance of receiving an upgrade by two times.
An upgrade component within an item can be replaced with another, but doing so destroys the original (except for upgrades of ascended equipment and legendaries). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or higher. If you add an upgrade to an existing weapon that already has a suffix or prefix upgrade, the item will be referred to as it would appear on the game screen (for instance, adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor makes it Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can only own up to three upgrade items at a time.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be a valuable addition to any product, because they offer numerous unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs increase the number of affixes an item has, which increases its effectiveness. These glyphs are available through the dungeons and some even drop in certain World Tier 3 areas. It's important to remember that glyphs are only available to players who have created a dungeon that has the same level of depth.
To make use of a Glyph you first need to create it using components and then connect them using anchors. The component will then automatically align with other components or paths in the same layer. If you don't wish to build the glyph from components, you can build it by combining paths and anchors. Drag an element in close proximity to an element highlighted to snap it into place.

Some glyphs have conditions to satisfy, like having 25 Dexterity or more in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to be activated, which can be difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that increases with each level.
Glyphs can be applied to many different items and weapons, except for those belonging to a specific class. Certain glyphs can be used with additional requirements, for example an amount of Dexterity damage, or attack damage in a particular part of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph adds the chance to deflect attacks from enemies. It also has an opportunity to make the Hero vulnerable for 2 turns.
There are a few glyphs that could be applied to limited-use tools, such as the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs are counted towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
item upgrader used glyphs are the attack glyphs which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts with a flat value. They are especially useful for classes that are ranged such as Warriors and Rogues. The Exploit Glyph makes enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are tokens that can be used to reroll the results that are rolled when taking an Action. They are discarded after the reroll has occurred. Reroll tokens can be obtained in a variety of ways, like raids and dungeons or through participation in skirmishes. They can also be purchased at the shop or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials, because they let players reroll the rewards from the chest at the end.
For items that are at level 1 there are values for recycling points. When recycle an item, it will add a certain number of points to the gauge of upgrade. This number will increase depending on the item's value and rarity. In addition the upgraded item will not keep its level when it is rerolled and the cost for recycling an upgraded item increases depending on its level.
The player may also use reroll tokens in order to make an item rerollable. However, this will not restore the item's original stats or level. This is useful for players who want to reroll an item or piece of equipment that they don't love but want to keep in their collection.
There are three types of upgrade tokens that are available in the game: reroll, random and upgrade. Each type comes with a variety of subtypes. Reroll tokens for instance come in three levels of rarity: legendary, rare, and enhanced. Each requires a product of the respective level to produce a new item with the same quality.
To use tokens that reroll choose "Reroll Token" by right-clicking on the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Then, choose a type of token. The tokens available include Item Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns, and Focus. Utilizing an Item token will create an entirely new Item of any type. Utilizing a Weapon or Misc token will create a new weapon from the same faction.
The item can be upgraded to a different item that has similar stats, but at a higher level. This will occur if the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or has been transferred to it as part of a Franchise Card.
